Building People’s Interactive EDI Careers Map

Join us for the launch of Building People’s Interactive EDI Careers Map, powered by Barbour ABI.

This interactive map is designed to help users find organisations that provide built environment careers support to diverse and under-represented groups in the UK. Initially populated by over fifty members of the Building People network, the map lists organisations that work with women, young people, ex-offenders, people from racialised communities, refugees, ex-military personnel, LGBTQ+ people and people with disabilities. If you’re looking to find careers support or to engage with these organisations, join the webinar to learn more and also to have the opportunity to get involved and shape future iterations of the map.

Description

With speakers that include the founder of Building People, Rebecca Lovelace, and the GIS Analyst, Robert Baker, that developed the map, along with a representative from one of the organisations featured on the map, this webinar is a perfect opportunity to find out where to access the organisations that provide built environment careers support to diverse and under-represented audiences – and to get involved in Building People’s movement for collaborative change to increase diversity in construction and the built environment.
