Opportunity Description
Want to join NLA’s NextGen Committee?
We are looking for passionate future leaders of the built environment industry who want to help drive NLA’s work in supporting the next generation.
Are you interested in:
Acting as a NextGen ambassador in your business/organisation/networks?
Proposing themes and speakers for new events?
Opportunities to attend and speak at NLA events?
The NextGen Committee brings together the future leaders of the built environment, amplifying the voices of NextGen across NLA and identifying opportunities to support the career progression of the leaders of the future. Chaired by Kat Hanna, Director of Strategic Advisory and Place Strategy, Avison Young, the Committee has evolved from the NextGen Sounding Board, and is a unique opportunity to come together with peers from across the built environment industry to advise NLA on the issues that matter most to the next generation, and share innovative new ideas and solutions for London
As representatives of the NextGen Network you will share current needs, priorities and challenges on how NLA can best support your professional development. And share your perspective on key issues, discussing the ideas and solutions that will help drive change for London and the industry, that can help inform the New London Agenda and NLA’s programmes and research.
The NextGen programme is supported by our Champions Gardiner & Theobald.
Want to get involved? Please register your interest by Monday 9 January via our short form, in which you'll be asked to provide your name, job title and company; plus, we’d like to hear your perspective on the following questions:
What do you think are the biggest challenges/opportunities for those at the early stage of their career in the built environment and/or those aspiring to leadership positions?
What do you think are the biggest challenges/opportunities for London as a city over the next five years?
Candidates should be in the first 2-5 years of their career or aged between 25-35.
